The Word of God

A great woman of God whom I believe that He reveals his secrets to, sent this to me. I encourage you to get serious about the Word of God! She loves God and is concerned about the condition of the body of Christ and I agree.

"I am grieved by the condition of the Body of Christ today! People don't know the WORD. They take what they hear without checking the scriptures for themselves and fall prey to the enemies lies! I am a wretched sinner saved by grace who needs HIM and the whole counsel of His word! I do not know many people that are serious about God's Word and kingdom agenda."

I so agree with my friend. We have to get to the point where we hear God for ourselves. Other people are there to confirm what God has already spoken to us and to help guide us. We must become HOLY people…yes HOLY people that God intended for us to be. We must learn to adjust our lives to the Word—the entire Word, not just part of it. We must stop manipulating the word to suit our needs. The enemy is deceptive, yet we must be aware of his tactics. We have been playing around with God’s Word for too long. We have been compromising for too long not only in our churches but in the political arena as well. It is time that the church be the church and live according to the unadulterated TRUTH….God’s WORD, all of it. And, we must not become so easily offended when a prophet of God (man or woman) speaks a word (good or bad) that we know is the truth.
This is not a word to dishearten you or offend you. It is sent to encourage you. We cannot relax and play around with the enemy. The violent taketh by force. We must KNOW the word so that we can use it effectively. We must study it, let it saturate our lives; let Him speak to us so that we can be more effective and so that we can have the POWER that we need in these last days.

Why do people think that Lebron is better than Kobe?He is not and I am not even a big Kobe fan. Lebron is not better than Kobe at this point....It is a media spike and it is because LeBron has more charisma in my opinion. What do you think?

Well, when I thought, botched lineup for the Tampa Bay Rays game, I thought oh no, we are in trouble. We still won the game with Longoria benched and the pitcher getting a base hit. Yeah, that is one thing about the Rays, they never cease to amaze me. There is no predictability about them and sometimes when they do crazy stuff, they end up being the top dawgs......Now, let us get some wins in a row.....Can we say at least 6 in a row? You can do it boys. I got all the confidence in you.....Go Rays. And, yeah, those Lakers trounced the Rockets---I did not expect such a beatdown. Was anyone surprised at the Celtics loss? Not me. Surprising, I am not a big fan of Lebron or the Cavs so I will be in favor of the Magic......Whew!!!!I love sports.

A few of my peeves!

Why are people so very easily offended? Why do adults acts so immature sometimes? Why can people be so hyprocrital?----they want one set of rules for themselves and another for you to live by. I am very passionate about this. I also hate that people in this world have such a hard time being unified. I am the type of person that not only lets things roll off my back, but I do not hold a grudge, I do not see people and their positions as anything but a blessing from God(so I try not to judge them) and I work to be an encourager. We really need to get past the silly, middle school type stuff and grow up and act like the adults that God made us to be....Put aside all the junk and work together. We try to build businesses, move up the ladder and all that stuff and yet we are missing the foundational stuff....Hmmmmmmm. We have got to wise up y'all.
